CCC Pathway Class, Spring 2018
Pathway Class, Spring 2018: Pathway is an opportunity for our non-communing children to pursue becoming communing members of the church. When a family joins Christ Community, both parents and children are considered members of the church family. However, the children are initially classified as "non-communing” members because they do not yet partake of the Lord’s Supper. When a child reaches a point of spiritual maturity and is ready make a public profession of faith, that child goes through a process which leads to becoming a "communing member" of CCC.
The process and discernment of a child transitioning from a non-communing member to a communing member involves a beautiful collaboration between the child’s parents, the pastors, and his/her church family. We’re excited for the Spring 2018 Pathway class! If you have questions, please contact Hunter firstname.lastname@example.org.
Starting on April 6th, Christ Community will offer our 6-week Spring 2018 Pathway class. The first session will be dinner, discussion, and fellowship at the Baileys' house on Friday, April 6th at 6:00 PM. The remaining five classes will take place on Sundays from 9-9:45 am, from April 8th through May 6th.
